What the books will cover
Jock tax recordkeeping
Dormie will organize tournament earnings, event dates, and locations for your tax preparer. This service covers bookkeeping and records only. Dormie does not calculate state or local tax allocations, give tax advice, or prepare tax returns. These records do not guarantee a particular tax outcome.
Caddie compensation
We’ll track caddie payments and maintain compensation and reporting records for your tax preparer.
The cost of competing
Your books will include tournament fees, travel, lodging, coaching, equipment, and other business expenses. Transactions that need more context will be discussed with you before they are recorded.
International records
Foreign income, tax withholding, and payment records will be organized for your tax preparer. Any foreign tax credit calculations or advice remain with that adviser.
Records for your advisers
Current books and financial reports will give your advisers information for their work. Entity decisions and tax planning remain with your legal and tax professionals; Dormie’s role is bookkeeping and financial records.
Reports you can use
during the season
Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations will feed into financial reports showing what you earned, what you spent, and where you stand. Where the records and agreed scope allow, we’ll review activity by month, tournament, or season.
Tour scope and pricing will be confirmed before work begins. Dormie’s existing service levels describe the firm’s broader offerings; they are not a Tour price quote.
